Over a career spanning 21 years and two codes, he has played 450 professional games of football.

Brad Thorn has played more professional rugby than any other player in history, in two codes and on three continents. International he amassed 59 All Blacks caps, including winning the 2011 Rugby World Cup, as well as 8 for the Australian Kangaroos.

In State of Origin he represented Queensland 14 times. In the NRL he played 200 games for the Brisbane Broncos and in provincial rugby he played 92 games for the Canterbury Crusaders and another 20 playing for Leicester including winning the Heineken Cup in 2012. By any standards this is an amazing achievement.
